Best Computers for GSPro at 4K
Running any golf simulator software in 4K will be more demanding on your PC and require a better GPU.
Between the higher cost of an upgraded gaming pc and a 4K projector, some argue whether 4K is worth it or not.
1080p is just fine for my garage golf simulator but those that have 4K golf simulators generally don’t regret it.
Here are some good computer options based on the recommended specs for GSPro in 4K.
Computers that meet GSPro Minimum Requirements
If your budget is running low (golf simulators are expensive) you can get by with a computer that meets the minimum requirements for GSPro gameplay.
One of the great things about GSPro is that it offers many different resolution quality settings including:
- Very High
- GSPro Lite
By choosing one of these computers you will be able to enjoy GSPro in one of the lower settings and save some money.
Can You Run GSPro on a Laptop?
Absolutely! But you should be aware of some differences.
Laptop GPU’s are not the same as the desktop version of the same GPU.
For example, an NVIDIA RTX 3080ti in a laptop will perform more like an RTX 3070.
Considering that disparity you may want to go with an even higher quality GPU on the laptop than what is recommended for a desktop.
Laptops also don’t cool as well as desktops which can affect performance. You may want to consider a laptop cooling stand to help with that if it’s a problem for you.
- [Ultra-portable]: slim, portable, and light weight…
- [Ergonomic comfort]: doubles as an ergonomic stand…
- [Optimized for laptop carrying]: the high-quality…
- [Ultra-quiet fans]: three ultra-quiet fans create…
- [Extra USB ports]: extra USB port and Power switch…

Best Laptops for GSPro at 1080p
The recommended specs for GSPro state an RTX 3060Ti GPU but since a laptop GPU will not perform as well (as described above) these laptops were selected with RTX 3070 or 3070Ti graphics cards.
According to this comparison, the laptop 3070Ti is closest to the 3060Ti desktop version.
I personally run GSPro on a laptop with a 3070 GPU and I have no problems whatsoever with the 1080p Ultra setting.
GSPro (as well as most other golf simulator software) recommend the Nvidia RTX 30 series GPU cards.
I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on GPU’s but what you need to know is the higher the number in the series, the better performance you can expect.
You will also see Nvidia offers “Ti” versions of each graphics card. The Ti version of the card will offer better performance as well.
